Established in 1982 Close Architectural & Engineering, a family owned company, has always strived to offer an exacting sub-contract service by regular investment in plant, machinery, systems and people.
There are two divisions within the company: Architectural Metalwork and General Engineering which together now have an annual turnover in excess of £9m and employ over 100 staff.
- Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, our facilities are close to all of the major road links in the North East region.
- Close Architectural specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of architectural metalwork for major construction companies throughout the U.K. and abroad.
- Close Engineering provide a complete service in the supply of fabrications to the offshore, Sub Sea, Power Generation and General Engineering Industries throughout the U.K. and abroad.
